Buying land is a very simple process that does not require the use of
solicitors and we find that the vast majority of people do not bother as
it is a waste of money and after all, you do not use a solicitor to buy a
motor car. On receipt of your 10% deposit cheque, made payable to Land Masters Ltd we will send you photocopies of the title deeds so that you may ascertain that we are the registered sellers of the land and will only return this deposit if, for any reason, we cannot pass a good legal title to you. Once you are satisfied with the legality of the title, you can then send the remainder and once your cheque has cleared, we will start the transfer process. We do all the paperwork for you and send it finally to the Land Registry who complete the transfer and return to us the new Deed in your name. There is a £40 to the Land Registry to effect the transfer. An alternative to a cheque is to remit the funds directly to the Land Masters Ltd bank account with the Bank of Scotland, London Chief Office, 38 Threadneedle Street, London EC2P 2EH - Account Name - Land Masters Ltd. The account number and sort code will be given on request. That's all there is to it! |
